On 12 November 2025, the Department of Natural Sciences, IUT organized IUT Math Olympiad- 2025 to encourage mathematical aptitude and analytical thinking among students. About 50 students from different departments participated in this competition This event was an excellent opportunity to enhance problem solving skills and to experience the spirit of academic competition. Among the participants, the top 10 students were selected to represent IUT in the National Undergrad Math Olympiad 2025, held on 21 November 2025.​​
